From the top of the mountain you will have a great view over the wild surroundings.

A beautiful snowshoe forest hike which ends in a moderate uphill climb.

After arriving at the meeting point we start our hike towards the mountain. We will start with a short transport via snowmobile powered sled to the base of the mountain. Here we will put on our snowshoes and grab our poles! The walk will be easy for most parts of the way although sometimes moderate. At the top of the mountain we will enjoy the beautiful view of the surroundings. Here we will rest and make coffee/tea over an open fire and have a sandwich and some Swedish "fika".

After enjoying ourselves we will head down towards the snowmobile and the meeting point.

The mountain is a natural habitat for capercaillie, snowshoe hare, reindeers and moose.

Enjoy the beautiful winter landscape while learning how to track wildlife with our guide.

After arriving at the meeting point we will travel a bit further to find some fresh wildlife tracks to follow. We will put on our snowshoes and grab our poles and read the snow for possible snowshoe hare, fox, reindeer, moose, capercaillie and many other species. Depending on what we find to follow, the hike may be moderate.We will take our time to enjoy the beautiful views of our surroundings, rest and make coffee/tea over an open fire and have a sandwich and some Swedish "fika".
